The other day, I was having some issues at work so I head to the doctor and got some sick leaves. I did not want to waste my sick leaves on sleep and watching Criminal Minds series for the 6th time, so I decided to be a little productive.
I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and saw someone sharing a video on how to make krispie treats and since I have all the ingredients at home (much thanks to my baker mum), I thought, why not?
So I made the Krispie Treats on day 1. It was so sticky! I was frustrated over how sticky it was I thought I would never do it again.
Aftee putting it in a tray, I left it in the fridge for a few hours before cutting them.
It was soooooooo good!
Good enough to make me want to do it again!
So day 2 saw me doing Krispie Treats AND Fruity Pebbles Treat. I now have a better way to do it so that none of my pots or trays get sticky that I have to spend so much time washing them. Hehe.
Day 2 also saw me whipping up some Chendol Ice Cream.
That taste not bad for someone who is trying to make her first ice cream without making a Vanilla Ice Cream first. I think I deserve some credit here hehe.
Anyway, my mum was really shock that I was in here kitchen longer in those two days than in my entire life living under her roof. That was so hurtful that I told her I am never stepping into her kitchen ever again lol.
Hurt my feelings.
